Saturday’s Erie region forecast: Chance of showers, thunderstorms

Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 80s.

For those heading out to Halloween events on Friday, temperatures will reach a high of 54 degrees in Chicago with mostly sunny skies. Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 51. A few isolated rain showers will be possible. A disturbance with pass to our north on Monday and a few showers will creep into the Alcoma area and north. Most of us will stay dry. Temperatures will be seasonable, in the low 60s.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers, although the high is expected to rebound to 74.

The midstate will see wet weather this week, starting with showers overnight. The breeze will pick up this afternoon with winds between 5-15mph.

We’ll probably have to wait until late Tuesday and especially Wednesday to see any significant sunshine.

Skies should be cloudy tonight, with a low of 55 and 10 to 17 miles per hour south wind. Highs will be in the mid-60s and lows will dip to around 40 degrees.

A bigger storm system will roll our way Tuesday through Thursday with storms, wind and rain.

Even with the clouds and rain chances in the middle part of next week, temperatures rise.

Showers and embedded thunderstorm chances will increase rapidly today and tonight. Highs will be in the low 50s.

After a sunny start to the week, Friday brings nothing but rain.

Wednesday night: Cloudy with a 70 percent chance of showers.
