Saudi king meets Gen Raheel, vows to help eliminate terrorism
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday has said that Pakistan Army is the best fighting force in the world, ARY News reports.

The Saudi monarch and crown prince also assured the army chief that they considered any threat to Pakistan’s integrity unacceptable. Both sides re-emphasised the need to join hands to eliminate the menace of terrorism and reinvigorate the mechanism to roll back extremism.
Along with discussing matters of mutual interest, bilateral defence and security cooperation between the two countries, the dignitaries acknowledged Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were significant players in regional stability with important responsibility towards the Muslim Ummah.
General Raheel Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to safety, protection of Harmainul Sharifain and territorial integrity of the Saudi Kingdom.
Saudi Defence Minister urged Pakistan army to enhance cooperation in the domains of counter terrorism and choking financial resources of terrorists.
The Saudi king and the army chief agreed both the countries “share great history of cordial relations and deep spirit of brotherhood which transforms into enduring partnership”.
General Raheel Sharif also held a meeting with Saudi Chief of General Staff General Abdul Reham bin Saleh.
All teams participated with extra ordinary vigor and demonstrated highest level of motivation, agility and physical fitness, said a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
