Saudi strike hits embassy in Yemen: Iran

Late on Sunday, Saudi Arabia announced it was severing relations with Iran because of the assaults, and a host of its allies have since cut or reduced their ties as well.

Wednesday’s remarks from Oman were its first over the ongoing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which began with the kingdom’s execution of Sheikh Nimr Al Nimr.
