SC Democrats support Clinton, latest Winthrop Poll shows
In perhaps the most memorable line of the first Democratic debate in Las Vegas, Sanders turned to Clinton and said, “The American people are sick and exhausted of hearing about your damn emails”. Before now, Nicholas writes, Sanders would only criticize specific policy positions, and not Hillary Clinton as a candidate or public figure.

“You get 12 seconds to say these things”, he added. Thats silly Let the investigation proceed unimpeded.
Jim Cole/AP Bernie Sanders recently told the Wall Street Journal that there are “valid questions” about Hillary Clinton’s email practices.
US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has said at two campaign stops in Iowa that she would like to raise the country’s minimum wage to $US12 ($A16.65) an hour from the current $7.25 ($A10.05).
His speech last month in Iowa during the party dinner included a series of sharp contrasts with Clinton on issues important to the Democratic base, such as the Keystone XL pipeline, the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, gay marriage and the Iraq war.
Clinton has said she wants to build a national movement to counter the National Rifle Association. The same poll conducted in September survey had Sanders leading Clinton 43 percent to 36 percent there. On Friday the former secretary of state will speak at a town hall held at historically black Claflin University in Orangeburg, S.C. The event will be hosted by the SC Legislative Black Caucus and moderated by Roland Martin.
Clinton’s support is even stronger in the African-American community, where she sweeps with 80% support among likely voters. It’s just when women talk a few people think we’re shouting, ‘ Clinton said last month, clearly aiming her ire at Sanders.
After Clinton delivered the focus group-tested response “I’ve taken responsibility for it”, Sanders was asked for his comment and, in one of the shocks of the campaign season, said “something that may not be great politics”. Since all that has failed to keep people from supporting Hillary we must assume they will try to find something to fill the void.
Sanders regularly downplays the issue as one that doesn’t rise to the level of raising wages, climate change and education reform, but doesn’t dismiss the email investigation entirely.
“I think I’ve met a lot of them by now”, Clinton said, laughing.
The Vermont independent has been losing ground to Clinton in recent polls, especially in the key early voting state of New Hampshire.
