West Texas Intermediate (WTI) U.S. crude futures were at .41 per barrel, down 35 cents after touching .12, their lowest since February 2009.
The mandate passed by the courts affects the sales of diesel vehicles with an engine capacity of 2,000 cc or more, and comes after India’s National Green Tribunal requested for a month-long ban on the registration of all diesel cars to help clean up the air in Delhi, one of the most polluted cities in the world.

Wearing handcuffs and beige T-shirt, Marquez appeared in federal court in Riverside, California for a brief hearing on Thursday. Apparently it was a marriage of convenience , and a sham in order to get the woman in question American citizenship.

Hiddink arrives in London, confirms Chelsea talks
The Blues qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League last week, and will host Sunderland on Saturday. Meanwhile, Chelsea captain John Terry has described Mourinho’s exit after 30 months in charge as a “sad, sad day”.
The detailed action plan, which was submitted by the AAP-led government to the apex court, argued that the current problem of air pollution will not be resolved, if diesel vehicles continue to be registered in the neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. Other rulings include a ban of all trucks over 10 years old to pass through the capital and a demand for all Delhi taxis, including Uber and local Ola, to convert their cars for running on compressed natural gas. The magnitude of the pollution tax is likely to depend on the vehicle price and this move is set to drive up the new auto prices in Delhi. This winter, Delhi has already experienced rapid increase in pollution – PM2.5 levels have remained three to four times the standards and on smoggy days, the level can go up to six to seven times the standards.
According to TimesOfIndia, over 23 percent of the cars on the streets of Delhi run on diesel. Trucks making deliveries to Delhi itself are required to pay a now-doubled charge of 2,600 rupees (RM168).
