SC tag team smackdown: Cruz, Trump, Rubio

The nod did not move the needle for the former MA governor, however, as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich went on to win the SC primary. But this marks the most forceful attempt by the Cruz to counter his opponent’s attacks. “And in my experience, the strongest person isn’t usually the loudest person in the room”, George W. Bush said.

In a statement, Trump, threatened to take legal action against Cruz for him being born in Canada and not in the US. Trump slams his foe’s “lies”, while Cruz is painting the blowhard billionaire as a liberal in disguise.

Ted Cruz led the poll with 28 percent, Donald Trump with 26 percent, Marco Rubio at 17 percent, John Kasich at 11 percent, Ben Carson at 10 percent, and finally Jeb Bush with only 4 percent.

Trump and Rubio are “repeatedly putting forth fabrications with no evidence, no basis whatsoever, just trying to throw mud and attack”, Cruz said. In the interview Trump said he’s “very pro-choice” and “pro-choice in every respect”.

Rubio had said Tuesday, “We’d love to have her endorsement”.

“If you have mastered a subject, you should not have to pay to take a course for something you already know”, Rubio said.

A conservative activist, Clovis said he and other top Trump staffers have also received “hundreds” of suggestions for a potential Supreme Court appointee to replace the late Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, assuming Senate Republicans successfully block an appointment by President Obama.

“I have to say to Mr. Trump, you have been threatening frivolous lawsuits for your entire adult life”, Cruz said at a news conference in SC. However, if Rubio bags the party’s nomination she is unlikely to be on his ticket because the two leaders are from the same region of the country and both of their parents are immigrants.

Sen. Ted Cruz welcomed Donald Trump’s threat of a lawsuit over his eligibility to be president saying, “If he wants to file a frivolous lawsuit, he can file a frivolous lawsuit”. “You can read the constitution all you want; it never says it’s the government’s job”, said Carson.

Just 15 percent chose Rubio, who, like Cruz, does not believe in exceptions to opposing abortion in cases when women are raped, and that the next president should back legislation allowing individuals and businesses to cite their religious beliefs and deny service to same-sex couples.
