Scattered Storms with Heavy Downpours Likely Monday
The next few days will be characterized by a mixture of the heat and storms. We may see the streak of 90+ degree highs end today. Scattered Showers/Storms (30%). Highs in the mid 80s.

The low pressure area is expected to track west-northwest and aid in numerous storms and showers across our area over the next two days.
Temperatures in the meantime will hover around normal in the afternoon and lows will slowly increase as the moisture starts to filter in to the region. The rain may be heavy at times with gusty winds.
This weekend features hot temperatures and a greater chance for showers and storms, especially on Sunday. This complex will clip the Northern Ozarks but residual scattered storms south of the main complex will impact the Ozarks in the morning.
Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the middle 80s. Breezy and Warm. High: 88-90. Tonight, a few scattered showers are possible.
Wednesday: Mostly Cloudy with Showers Likely in the Afternoon.
Most of the showers and storms that form today will come to an end through the evening, but a few stray showers can not be completely ruled out late tonight. It won’t rain all the time, but any passing storm could produce heavy rain in a short amount of time.
