Schebler hits walk-off home run to down Cardinals

Playing at home against the St. Louis Cardinals, Votto briefly engaged with a Reds fan while attempting to catch a foul ball along the first-base line in the top of the seventh inning.

Scott Schebler was just called up to the Reds on Tuesday to take Jay Bruce’s spot on the roster. Pham followed with his first career pinch-hit homer, the fourth of the game by St. Louis. The Reds have hit Wacha for a.263 BA/.315 OBP without the help of Bruce.
