Scherzy ignores questions about Cheryl in incredibly awkward X Factor interview
“I’m really close with her, the people on the panel – that’s my family”.

Earlier, when asked whether she was disappointed that she would not be sharing the panel with Cheryl, she dodged the question.
In a recent preview video for the show, Nicole gives her best impressions of Britney Spears and Shakira – Simon even asks her to sing like Kermit the Frog impersonating Adele!
She then preceded to launch into a rendition of Jennifer Hudson’s “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going”, in an apparent dig the pair’s vocal ability.
Nicole Scherzinger didn’t seem too keen to talk about predecessor Cheryl at the X Factor launch.
She flashed a nervous glance at her representative, who interjected, ‘Ok, let’s move on’.
Cheryl was replaced by Nicole on the U.S. version of The X Factor after being fired amid claims United States audiences struggled with her Geordie accent.
It all started when Nicole, 38, was asked about 33-year-old Chezza’s absence from the programme this time around, with a reporter saying: ‘You and Cheryl – you didn’t get to meet her on the panel this year?’ I said I’d heard her song on the radio and I think I sang the words “promise this”. I don’t understand why anybody would do that.
As well as her latest perfume, Cheryl is also rumoured to be making new music after she quit her X Factor judging role and then shared a selfie of her in the studio weeks later.
In April 2011, Cheryl was hired to help launch the American version of X Factor but the following month she was unceremoniously fired.

“But never mind, there’ll be another girl on Broadway and Nicole will not get her Tony award”.
