Scholes says Pogba is not worth big money
United are in talks with Juventus over signing the midfielder, having had an opening £86million bid rejected.

The report suggests Real Madrid have rekindled their interest in the French midfielder, but their attempts to hijack the deal are unlikely to be successful as United and Juventus are very close to agreeing a fee that could reach €125m.
Juventus’ reluctance to sell their star man hindered the deal between the two giants of world football, Manchester United and Juventus, about the transfer of the most wanted man in world football right now.
United’s FA Cup triumph last season was the first piece of silverware the club has won since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as manager in 2013. It is also a big club, a club with economical power to fight for their best players, to try and keep their best players. But while there are deals indeed happening and players moving clubs and continents, not everything you hear is gospel. It is not a race, it is just the market.
It is a very hard situation with the England national team.
“You have smoke, you have fire”, said Mourinho, who is in China with the squad for a friendly tournament involving Manchester City – managed by his bitter rival Pep Guardiola – and Borussia Dortmund. It is not black or white, I give him options.
“He was a very talented young player, I played with him and I knew how good he was”, he said.
“The way I am trying to build the team, it is more important for me that (I work with) the players from other positions than the one I think that is going to play as the striker”.
After signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mourinho wants to complete his summer spending with £100m-rated Pogba before the Community Shield in a fortnight’s time.
Personal terms have been agreed with Pogba’s agent, the ubiquitous Mino Raiola, believed to be a basic salary of around £220,000 per week plus bonuses on four-year deal.
“We have one space for a midfield player”, the United boss said.

Raiola has already had a lucrative summer working with the Manchester club.
