The bus was leaving the airport when it apparently turned back around towards the terminal. The hospital wouldn’t release more details.

“The team is really pulling for them”, Ferdani said. Officials at Denver Health tell the KUSA TV station that they have five patients: two are in critical condition, two are in serious condition and one is in fair condition.
Police Sgt. Michael W. Farr said at a news conference that 17 to 20 people on the bus, not including the dead driver, were rushed to hospitals.
Five patients were also taken to University Hospital.
Police spokesman John White said the female bus driver died after the bus veered off a road and crashed into a concrete wall.
As of late Sunday, authorities had not released any of the bus driver’s medical history.
Ferdani said counselors will be available both at the high school and the district’s transportation center Monday.
DIA reported the crash at around 3:18 p.m.
The bus driver had picked up 28 students, and four adults were on the bus, including the bus driver, DIA spokeswoman Stacy Stegman said.
“The bus driver circled back around to this level”. She was one of three buses traveling outbound…. “They really don’t know why”.
An airport spokesperson said the bus, carrying pupils from Legacy High School, had been approaching the passenger arrivals of the east terminal at 4pm local time when it veered into a support bridge. Players on the bus were members of the varsity and junior varsity teams.
Police haven’t released information on the cause of the crash.
Uninjured students gathered with parents inside the airport, the Post reported.
Keanna Smith, a senior at Legacy, stopped by the school in Broomfield on Sunday night to leave balloons and flowers.

He said: “She should not have been coming back up – but she did”. More than a dozen students and coaches from Legacy’s Junior Varsity (JV) football team made their escape through an emergency exit.
