Scores of people have been feared dead after fresh multiple explosions believed to have been perpetrated by Islamist sect group Boko Haram, rocked Ajilari Railway cross in Gomari Airport way, Maiduguri.

According to Abubakar, the blasts occurred as worshipers performed evening prayers.
At least 21 people were killed in a series of blasts blamed on Boko Haram militants in the restive northeastern city of Maiduguri, witnesses said on Monday.
A commercial vehicle driver who resides in the Gommari area, Alhaji Tijjani Bana, said the forth explosion occured at the gate of a viewing center killing about five people including children selling satched water.
The explosions are suspected to have been masterminded by suicide bombers, Vanguard reports.
When contacted, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 7 Division, Maiduguri, Colonel Tukur Gusau promised to get back after being briefed by troops in the affected communities.
Usman said although details were not clear, it was important to note the attacks signified high level of desperation on the part of the Boko Haram terrorists.
“Security personnel and emergency management teams have been drafted to the area and appropriate security measures being taken”.
Usman said the military would not be deterred in its determined efforts of defeating Boko Haram terrorists in the shortest possible time. The military spokesman stated that public cooperation “would enable the security [agents to] take appropriate measures” against the insurgents.
