More good news for the Clinton campaign.
In a searing denouncement, President Barack Obama castigated Donald Trump as “unfit” and “woefully unprepared” to serve in the White House.
The Latest on the US presidential campaign. “They are going to pay”, Trump told the crowd.
“I will take at least 10 people to the polls who would otherwise have difficulty getting there”, said Buffett, adding that he had reserved a 32-seat trolley for the day with a goal of getting the highest-percentage turnout of any congressional district in the country.
Further, a majority of Clinton’s backers now say their vote is more to show support for her than to oppose Trump, a sharp shift since early May.
Obama is also citing Trump’s misstatements on global crises.
“While he noted that he disagrees with Clinton on many issues, he concluded that she “has stood for causes bigger than herself for a lifetime”.
One of those Republicans came around to Clinton’s side Tuesday. He is not seeking re-election.
Her onetime Democratic opponent, Bernie Sanders, raised more than $6 million in the 24 hours after winning the New Hampshire primary, after declaring in a nationally televised victory speech that he was “going to hold a fundraiser right here, right now, across America”.
The TV spot, now airing in the crucial swing states of Florida, Pennsylvania and OH, misstates the year Clinton received a contribution of as much as $5 million from an Indian businessman, after promoting jobs in that country, the Democrat’s campaign said. She said she is still too grief-stricken by her son’s death. Appearing on “Hannity”, the Republican nominee suggested the potential for foul play in November.
Now, he’s sparring with an American Muslim family whose son was killed in Iraq.
