SDCC: The New Doctor Strange Trailer is Here
After a subtle name drop for Stephen Strange in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it was already confirmed that Doctor Strange would be joining the Marvel cinematic universe. The first trailer came out in April, and Comic Con fans in Hall H today got the first look at the second trailer.

The newest trailer features Benedict Cumberbatch’s Dr. Stephen Strange learning the ways of sorcery and magic from The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).
Half the time I really had no idea what was happening in this trailer, not that I’d want it any other way, especially since this is arguably the MCU’s weirdest movie yet.
The film, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, is based on the superhero who first appeared in comic-books in 1963.
Doctor Strange will open the doors to the Sanctum Sanctorum on November 4, 2016. The panel also featured the reveal of another new poster.
Typically, trailers and other footage presented at San Diego Comic Con is relatively raw, with numerous visual effects still needing to be finished, but that does not mean that fans are not hoping for a great surprise from Chris Pratt, James Gunn and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 cast.
Bratt is best known for his Emmy-awarding winning role as NYPD Detective Rey Curtis on NBC’s long-running drama Law & Order. Seeking help in the furthest reaches of the world, odd uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions!

The initial thinking was that Ejiofor – who plays Baron Mordo – was going to play the villain, as the character is Strange’s arch-nemesis in the comics.
