Seahawks activate Kam Chancellor, waive Dion Bailey
Reports surfaced this week that Jimmy Graham was frustrated and upset with his role in the Seahawks offense after catching only one pass in the loss to the Packers. That means Jimmy Clausen will get the start, the same guy who has a 1-10 record in his lifetime as a starting quarterback.

Seattle Seahawks’ strong safety Kam Chancellor, lower left, huddles…
Consider stacking the Seahawks defense with Tyler Lockett.
So the Seahawks can play it a little coy for the next day or so about whether Chancellor will play against the Bears.
The Seahawks did not convert a third down in the first half, but cashed five times in the second half.
For the second straight week, top Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery will miss a game. He missed the Seahawks’ first two possessions, but then got into the mix, finishing with 14 yards on five carries. Matt Forte was held to 74 yards on 20 carries and the Bears finished with just 37 yards in the second half.
Sunday’s Bears vs. Seahawks game gets started at 4:25 p.m. Eastern Time. “But that’s part of this game”.
Unsurprisingly, National Football League experts everywhere are taking the Seahawks to roll through the Bears in Week 3.
Midway through the second quarter, the Bears had a 73-18 yards edge in rushing, but the Seahawks ultimately won that stat, 159 yards to 98. But none of that mattered right away as rookie Tyler Lockett returned the opening kickoff back for a touchdown that sparked life into Seattle and took the wind out of the sails of the windy city Bears. It was the longest return in franchise history and gave Seattle a 13-0 lead.
Seattle kicker Steven Hauschka made four field goals, the first two of which came during a first half that saw the Seahawks struggle on the way to a 6-0 lead.
When that did not happen and with fines accrued for his prolonged absence, Chancellor blinked and appeared at the team’s Renton, Washington, facility this week to “get back to work”. Seattle may need him too, as they are still trying for their first win. Seattle is coming off a pair of exciting games against St. Louis and Green Bay, whereas Chicago is coming off of a tough loss against Green Bay, and a beating at the hands of Arizona. Wilson was 5 of 5 for 110 yards in the quarter and Seattle outgained Chicago 162-24.
Graham caught seven passes for 83 yards, and Jermaine Kearse had six receptions for 76 yards.
Their ability to get pressure on and sack Russell Wilson was the major change in this week’s effort.
“That was between me and business and I would rather address that and handle that after the season when the time is permitted”, Chancellor said.
While the Seahawks offense got rolling, Chicago only ventured into Seattle territory once.
For the Bears, their season is already looking on par with how their previous season went.
“Seattle’s pretty loud”, Clausen said. Quarterback Carson Palmer has logged a quarterback rating over 100 in all three games this season, throwing for nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also found a back of the end zone in the third quarter.
