Seahawks awarded 2 third-round compensatory picks in NFL Draft
As it stands now we will have a whopping 65 picks between our choice at #18 overall and our next pick if we choose to stick and pick where we are. In past years, a team simply had to use their comp pick where it was awarded. Last year, the Packers had two fourth-round compensatory picks and used them on LB Blake Martinez and DE Dean Lowry. Past year they used two 4th-round selections on linebacker Blake Martinez and defensive end Dean Lowry; perhaps most famously, Mike Daniels was a 4th-round compensatory pick in 2012.

Every year around this time, some National Football League teams are giving nice little gifts prior to the start of free agency.
The rest of picks break down this way: Six after the fourth round, nine after the fifth, three after the sixth and three after the seventh. This is the first year compensatory picks can be traded.
Big difference since Elway took charge: Broncos have had NFL-most 11 comp picks 2015-17.
In the seventh round, only the Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos will get picks. Baltimore got three picks previous year (the max is four). That pick would have been No. 132.
They also received a fifth-rounder (38th in the round, 183 overall). That pick would have been No. 170. The Rams received a third- and fourth-round selection after losing Nick Fairley, Janoris Jenkins and Rodney McLeod in free agency.
The 32 compensatory picks issued are split among 16 teams. The formula of distribution is based primarily on salary, as well as playing time and postseason honors.
The picks were determined by the NFL Management Council for the 2017 NFL Draft. The Jets lost free agents Damon Harrison, Demario Davis and Chris Ivory in 2016. Conversely, Seattle signed Webb to a two-year deal worth up to $5.75 million and Sowell to a one-year deal worth $1 million. The first day of the draft is on April 27.

The Ravens were awarded the pick after losing guard Kelechi Osemele in free agency to the Oakland Raiders past year. Like Okung, Clady recently had an option on his contract declined.
