The Seattle Seahawks might join Colin Kaepernick to protest the USA national anthem during the first NFL game against the Miami Dolphins, according to a report.

The Seahawks open their season Sunday at CenturyLink Field on what will be the 15th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, which has added another layer to speculation that Seattle’s players could join teammate Jeremy Lane in protesting racial inequality in America.

In any case, Seattle’s display of team-wide unity sounds like it’ll really be something to take in.

“I think it’s very ironic that 15 years ago on September 11 is one of the most devastating times in USA history, and after that day we were probably the most unified we’ve ever been”, Baldwin said. We honor those who have fought for the freedom we cherish.

His announcement clarified his plans and concluded Sunday by saying, “progress can and will be made, only if we stand together”.

The Seahawks play the Dolphins in Seattle on Sunday. As part of pregame ceremonies, the Seahawks will honor all branches of the military along with local police, firefighters and EMTs.

“Anything we want to do, it’s not going to be individual”.

The exact number of Seahawks players who will protest next week is now unknown, but the team will likely make the biggest public stand thus far.

Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem to protest social injustice against African-Americans and other minorities in the United States has found support among members of the Seattle Seahawks. “And then we’ll see on the weekend that they’re going to do a very, very good thing”. Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin stated, “I think that anybody should be thinking about that”. Wagner said he did not know if he, personally, would choose to kneel or sit during the national anthem. “I’m doing it for me”. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals … “So we’ll see”, he told the Times. “And if we focus on that, maybe something can be change -€” and I think that’s important”.
