Seahawks’ Irvin: Dez Bryant wasn’t talking about Ricardo Lockette

Seattle is a tough draw without a playmaking quarterback; the Seahawks rarely blitz, daring foes to advance down the field in small steps. “It’s very similar”, coach Pete Carroll said. I don’t think people realize that.

Dallas Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant sounded off to the media for the second time this season following Sunday’s 13-12 loss to Seattle. The Seahawks won 13-12.

Wilson, who was 19 of 30 for 210 yards, started the winning drive by finding Jimmy Graham, who had game highs of seven catches for 75 yards, on third down. It isn’t over until it is over, and with nine games still to play, it is a long way from over. “Offensively, we were moving the ball pretty well”. But since he’s only judged on wins and losses, Dalton made the plays to keep Cincinnati unbeaten.

Dallas Cowboys Jason Garrett and members of the team were called “classless” by a member of the Seahawks squad after the game Sunday in which a Seattle player was injured.

“It was good to have him on the field”, quarterback Matt Cassel said. Although, Bryant was back, he was only targeted three times the entire game, leaving us to believe that he was out there more as a distraction and perhaps he may not still not be 100 percent healthy.

“The offensive line was phenomenal”, Wilson said. The emotional lift that Bryant provided wasn’t matched by his production.

As Lockette was being strapped to the stretcher, teammate Richard Sherman gathered nearly all the Seahawks around him a few yards to the left of the injury scene and led what appeared to be a brief, fiery, impassioned talk. Greg Hardy is a real factor, as shown by his athletic tipped pass interception that gave the Cowboys the best chance to win the game.

Bryant returned to practice last week and went through three limited practices. “This is a daunting task, even with Romo back, to really get our feet back up under us”. He hasn’t scored a touchdown in four career games against Seattle. Whichever side of the field or position Bryant lined up in, Sherman was there all alone.

“I won’t ever, ever, ever, ever wish bad on a player that’s been knocked down”, Bryant told a horde of reporters, according to ESPN’s Jean-Jacques Taylor. “Hey, man, nobody didn’t get locked down over here”.

With just over a minute to work with, the Dallas offense fizzled again. “It’s hard for defenses when Russell can pull it down (to run) and Marshawn (Lynch) is the hammer. He’s down there cheering them on while he’s all curled up and all”, he added. “We didn’t do enough offensively”.

Lockette was running with Byron Jones of the Dallas Cowboys for punt coverage before he was hit by the Dallas safety helmet-to-helmet.

The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver angrily denied a Vine post claiming he made disparaging remarks while unconscious Seattle receiver Ricardo Lockette lay motionless on the field after absorbing a hit.

The defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks are back to.500 and the Dallas Cowboys are running out of time to find a way to win without Tony Romo
