Seahawks lineman Michael Bennett calls out Paul Allen in post-game interview

Bennett spent four years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before becoming a productive defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks. After the game, he shared his feelings about Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, and his comment certainly turned a few heads.

Kam Chancellor came up with what may have been the game-saving play for the Seahawks, when he punched the ball out of Calvin Johnson’s hands, forcing a fumble. Paul Allen’s the 17th-richest man in the world. Never change Michael, never change. “Pay him!” before walking away.

After the game, Chancellor was being interviewed on the sideline when Bennett interrupted shouting: “Pay him!”

If you’re not familiar with Bennett, then … well, get to know him, because he didn’t stop there.

We might not be lucky enough to have a Bennett-Bennett presidential ticket in 2016, but we at least can make a push to have the NFL’s most colorful and loquacious brothers to be our nation’s poets laureate. “They threw rocks at Jesus, and Jesus was an excellent guy who did a lot of awesome stuff”, Bennett said after the Bears victory over the Raiders. The Texas native also spoke about his motivation against the Lions.
