Seahawks’ run defense is back among NFL’s best
After the game, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson put the blame everywhere. It’s no secret how much Peterson wants to be a big part of the teams offense.

Seattle Seahawks rookie defensive end Frank Clark saw his most time on the field during Sunday’s victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Tallying 18 yards on those eight carries was the third lowest output of his career.
Peterson can only hope that Zimmer is thinking about how he can increase the back’s workload this Thursday, when the Vikings play the Cardinals. I am always in favor of players voicing their opinions about any problems they have with the team or the coaching staff. But Peterson might be the exception to that rule because of his troubled past.
Teddy traded jerseys, not jabs: Teddy Bridgewater was aware of comments Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin made after the game in which Irvin said the second-year QB was “scared” of a defense that sacked him four times and was credited with seven quarterback hits by the press box.
“We talk about keeping your eyes on the prize, my coverage, eyes on the right spot”, Bettcher said. I’m going to make sure that I remember those words.
“I think Bruce was just excited to get the up on us”.
Demanding that Bridgewater outduel Arizona gunslinger Carson Palmer in the desert Thursday night is a fool’s errand.
But it is not too much to ask Bridgewater to complete a pass that requires observers to at least turn their necks. “That’s why I got one”. Bridgewater would fumble on the ball on the play but the Vikings wold recover as Seattle beat the Vikings, 38-7. “They were more aggressive, more physical, and they outcoached us as well”. “We had another outside zone play that I shortened when I should have wrapped it around”.
“You certainly look at everything, and you take all factors into consideration”, he said. “All I have to do is get the ball to those guys and allow them to make plays”. “I was told he’s being talked about as the league MVP this year, so that should explain a lot about him and the way he’s been making great throws and throwing to open receivers”.

Coach Mike Zimmer didnt want to get into any discussions about Peterson being critical of the game plan. Their injury-depleted defense is undermanned against Arizona’s top-ranked scoring offense and Minnesota proved last week it is not built to play from behind or match scores. “He’s shown multiple times he has what it takes at that position to win games”.
