Seattle Seahawks running back Derrick Coleman, who helped the team’s 2014 Super Bowl title run, was arrested Thursday for vehicular assault and hit-and-run, according to multiple reports.
Seattle’s Derrick Coleman carries the ball against the Tennessee Titans on October 13, 2013 in Seattle. The other driver hurt their collarbone in the crash, possible breaking it, the Times reported.
Bellevue police found Coleman nearby. A field sobriety test was performed on Coleman, but there’s no indication that he was intoxicated. He has started two games for Seattle this season. He missed 11 games in 2014 after suffering a broken foot.
Widely recruited out of Troy High in Fullerton, Calif., he played four years at UCLA, where he gained 1,780 yards and also earned second team All-Pac-12 honors as a senior as a special teams performer in 2011.

Signed by the Seahawks in December, 2012, Coleman has essentially been deaf since the age of 3.
