Seal 1, Great White Shark 0 in Cape Cod Battle
Marine researchers captured video of an oceanic slap fight between a shark and a seal off the coast of Chatham on Monday and posted it online with the title “White Shark 0: Seal 1”.

Shark researchers caught it all on camera. Spoiler alert: the seal escaped-this time.
It shows a shark breaching the water to snag the seal.
Skomal, a state fisheries biologist, is in the second year of a study to track the number and movements of great white sharks off Cape Cod.
Also Monday, researchers tagged two sharks, the spokesperson said.
“The seal won that battle but shortly after the same shark successfully consumed a different seal further offshore”, conservancy President Cynthia Wigren said in a statement provided to the Boston Globe.

“In conjunction with a spotter plane piloted by Wayne Davis, the conservancy sets out twice a week to document and tag the local white shark population, in an effort to determine how numerous predators call the cape home each summer”, reports the Inquisitr.
