Surprise, surprise. Diddy says rumors he’s put hands on Drake outside a Miami nightclub back in December 2014 are bogus.

Something clearly got lost in translation between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Justin’s UCLA football coach.

The rapper was taken into custody in Los Angeles in June after reportedly swinging a kettlebell weight at University of California, Los Angeles’ (UCLA) strength and conditioning coach, Sal Alosi, during an altercation following a practice. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a member of the UCLA Football team.

Some of the highlights from Diddy’s appearance on the radio show include him communicating to his son to address things as they come to you among other topics discussed during the session while dodging questions involving the alleged offense involving he and Alosi.

“I think there’s times when you have to just communicate and find out what’s going on and be by your children’s side”, he explained. I went there to communicate.

He continued, “At the end of the day, it’s just about communication for me”. Now I can’€™t speak about anything else that happened… I ain’t do nothing to Drake. He did confirm that there was a miscommunication between the rappers regarding the Drake track “0 to 100”, the beat which was originally meant for Diddy.

“As I know right now I’m not allowed”, he said, per Arlene Washington of The Hollywood Reporter. “You don’t fall down, you fall through a hole”.

“You have to be there for your kids 110 percent”, Diddy said in the radio interview.
