– The search for a 2-year-old boy who wandered away from his grandmother January 14 ramped up Tuesday evening as cold temperatures and snow threatened west Tennessee.

Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday when he went hiking in the woods with his grandmother and sister in Tennessee, officials said.
Authorities have been treating Noah Chamberlin’s disappearance as a normal missing persons case and said that they don’t believe foul play was involved.
“We have interviewed the entire family multiple times”, Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver told reporters at a news conference Tuesday, according to The Jackson Sun.
Tom Mapes, public information officer for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, says searchers have found no clothing, footprints or blood.
The Chamberlin family’s community sprung to action after the little boy’s disappearance, boarding busses on organized search parties throughout the day and night, combing over 1,000 acres of woods many times over in the area surrounding where Noah was last seen.
Search crews looking to locate Noah from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and other agencies are pictured above on Sunday. “We need help, not hindrance”.
Search crews said the hunt for Noah is hard given the terrain, which is filled with sinkholes and small bodies of water. We have dedication to find Noah and we have a faith and belief that we’re going to find him.
Authorities say the family voluntarily opened their doors to law enforcement officials, who searched their homes for the missing child.
Noah was added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website this week. Fresh search teams have come in, Turner said, offering brand new sets of eyes and new ideas.
