Sebastian Janikowski leads Oakland Raiders to win over San Diego Chargers
The Chargers come into Oakland as underdogs at 3.15, while the Raiders have strong odds at 1.38. If Davis and Chargers owner Dean Spanos get their wish, their franchises will be approved next month for relocation to Los Angeles, where they are proposing to build a privately financed stadium in Carson. But the St. Louis Rams have a Los Angeles stadium plan of their own, and there isn’t room in Los Angeles for two stadiums.

His final home game behind him, Oakland Raiders cornerback Charles Woodson took the chance to address his fans one last time.
Woodson announced his retirement, effective the end of the regular season, earlier this week.
The Raiders took the opening kick in overtime and appeared ready to self-destruct, drawing three costly penalties.
With the lead and needing one more stop to preserve a win for Woodson and to sendoff the fans at the Coliseum for the season, the Raiders defense dug deep and forced a three and out to close the game.
Woodson is in the third season of his second stint in Oakland. The Chargers took a 7-0 lead with 9:09 left in the first quarter.
Philip Rivers’ last pass fell incomplete near Charles Woodson’s feet and the celebration began.
That’s what has made him one of the most legendary defensive backs to ever play the game.
Amari Cooper has been on a bit of a draught as of recently, but stepped up last week for 120 yards and two scores.
It was another tough night for Carr, who had just 134 passing yards in regulation. Rivers threw for 277 yards and a TD for San Diego, also possibly on the move to the Los Angeles area. Wide receiver Dontrelle Inman caught eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.
On the next play, Michael Crabtree hauled in a touchdown pass from David Carr, who connected with Seth Roberts on a two-point conversion that gave Oakland a 20-17 lead.
The Chargers roared back, quickly marching into Oakland territory. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty was called which put San Diego back to the 35-yard line.
The Chargers responded with an 11-play, 53-yard drive that led to a Josh Lambo 45-yard field goal to tie the game at 20-20 and force the extra session. On second down, Denico Autry blasted through to sack Rivers in the end zone for a safety to cut it to 17-12.
The Chargers wound up settling for another field-goal try, and this time Lambo missed from 48 yards.

The latest defeat by the San Diego Chargers was a microcosm of their down season. Chargers capitalize with a one-yard touchdown run by Donald Brown. Latavius Murray capped it off with a 22-yard touchdown run. “Nobody wants to go out with negative-three yards rushing”. The field goal was Janikowski’s 52nd of 50 or more yards, tying Jason Hanson for the National Football League record. There just hasn’t been enough consistency from the Packers passing game to feel confident, even with somebody as good as Rodgers.
