Mrs Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine has also released his returns for the past 10 years.

Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, reported adjusted gross income of $313,441 in 2015.

“Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine continue to set the standard for financial transparency as she releases her 2015 personal tax return”, campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri said Friday. Taking into account their state and local taxes, the Clintons had a total effective tax rate of more than 43 percent.

But the campaign’s timing is deliberate: Donald Trump, who refuses to release his own returns, is having an especially bad couple of weeks on the campaign trail, giving the Clinton camp an opportunity to apply more pressure at a vulnerable moment.

“Each day that passes without Donald Trump releasing his tax returns is another day that he is failing to meet a fundamental obligation to the American public.” begins Graham “This isn’t complicated”.

The real estate mogul´s campaign said that Clinton´s move to release her tax returns “is nothing more than an attempt at distraction and misdirection”. “Even Republicans think so”, the video says. The government agency, however, has said that an audit does not restrict Trump from releasing the returns.

Last July, Clinton posted eight years of her tax returns on her campaign website.

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday sternly warned her Republican presidential rival Donald Trump about his “casual inciting” of violence, saying his remarks suggesting gun rights supporters could act against her “crossed the line”.

Hillary Clinton told a crowd of factory workers in Warrant that she will fight any trade deal that sends U.S.jobs overseas.

Clinton meant to try to make the case that Trump’s agenda would benefit him and his wealthy friends, and to characterize his plans as an update of “trickle-down economics”, according to her campaign.

“He was the founder of ISIS, absolutely”, says Trump, blaming the president for his decision to withdraw troops, which some argue created a power vacuum in which extremist groups like IS thrive.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment”, Trump said at a Tuesday rally.

Clinton’s strategy borrows from President Barack Obama’s winning playbook against Mitt Romney in 2012.
