Secret Service rushes stage to protect Clinton from protesters
For US Republicans, the taboo of voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election has been lifted, as party dignitaries reject Donald Trump amid one of the deepest controversies of his troubled campaign.

Donald Trump’s campaign chief acknowledged Thursday the GOP presidential nominee’s team is divided over whether to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan, but promised Trump would work with the Republican speaker if elected.
The poll found 48 percent of likely Florida voters would vote for Clinton; while 42 percent picked Trump. The Republican ticket with Trump and his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, have the support of 39 percent of voters.
Worse yet for Republicans, Trump’s terrible performance also looks to be imperiling their hopes to keep the Senate.
Trump hasn’t been in MI since a two-day swing through the state for March 3 debate at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
By adopting this course of action, Hillary Clinton is limiting the ceiling of Trump’s support, and cutting his message off at the knees.
Clinton went on to quote Ramos, who said after the incident with Trump: “The best journalism happens when you take a stand”. But that was the first time it suggested the businessman could beat Clinton.
Clinton has increased her favorable rating by more than 12 points since May, from 41.6 to 53.8 percent, while also decreasing her unfavorable rating from 31 to 25.5 percent. But Clinton has gotten a bit of a post-convention bounce in that area.
As the infighting continued, Trump and his allies lashed out at the Democratic presidential nominee’s foreign policy record.
With 96 days before the General Election, it’s still too early to call the state. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry. At the same time, most forecasts had the state staying in the GOP camp until at least 2020 or 2024.
Trump’s stunning slap at two of the nation’s most prominent Republicans dramatically escalated GOP turmoil barely a week after a convention meant to promote party unity.
While it may be tempting to jump to conclusions based on this one poll, though, this is yet another occasion where caution is warranted.
To get a sense for how important this is, we can look at past polling. If it does then, the GOP may have a lot to worry about in November.
Meanwhile, Trump’s missteps have caused widening ripples of anxiety among Republican officials with the election just three months away.
If Donald Trump can’t win, will he try to flip over the board?
Clinton’s campaign also released a TV ad Wednesday featuring Trump shrugging off the fact that many of his name-brand products were made overseas in a past interview with David Letterman.
