Security has been stepped up around Nicki Minaj’s wax model

It would appear, however, that Madame Tussauds, is putting a stop to that as far as things go with their new wax sculpture.

Madame Tussauds unveils the world’s first Nicki Minaj wax figure In Las Vegas on August 4, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The provocative statue featured Minaj wearing chains and a bikini and kneeling on both hands and knees – a position taken from a scene of Minaj’s 2014 Anaconda video. Photos of fans straddling, licking and otherwise violating the statue has prompted Madame Tussauds to increase security around Nicki’s wax figure and they’ve also announced plans to redesign it. One particular visitor’s pose with the figure was so outrageous that the museum addressed the incident in an official statement.

Minaj then posted photos to Instagram showing visitors posing inappropriately with her waxwork and Madame Tussauds responded by issuing a statement vowing to prevent it from happening again. “As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours…”

“We do have staff monitoring guest behaviour in the attraction and do our utmost to ensure our wax figures are treated respectfully, but on this occasion clearly one of of our hosts was not present”, the statement continued. “We are taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area”. “Why not standing up with a mic in her hand???”, Azealia tweeted when the wax was made public.
