See Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fight in By The Sea trailer
Early images of the film, written and directed by Jolie, are wrought with torment and unhappiness despite the picturesque setting: There are tears, kicking, slapping and a bit of self-medicating.

Brad and Angelina Jolie Pitt appear to have a relationship as solid as two uber-rich megastars with a dozen or so children could, but you wouldn’t know it by the trailer for their new movie By the Sea.
Ten years since Brad and Angelina played married spies in Mr & Mrs Smith (yup, the movie that ended Brad and Jen’s marriage #TeamJenForever), the happily married parents of six have paired up again to play a seriously troubled married couple in “By The Sea“. “It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew”. Midway through, Vanessa thinks about a past interaction with her husband.
The couple started their relationship on that film, while Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston was ending.
The trailer goes from charming scenes of the French coast and the couple with a musical overlay where a drowsy singer tells of a “perfect day”.
Set to be released on the 13th of November this year, it looks like Angie is striving for the gold lil’ man with By The Sea, as this is one of the last dates a film can be released in order to be considered for an Oscar nomination.
Angelina said in a recent interview: “It was hardest [when] I was directing our fight scenes”. She said: “‘I understand and appreciate his creative process and his work ethic even more than before”.
