See further into the world of ‘Moana’ in this awesome new clip

Dwayne looks to play the sweet, goofy, shape-shifting Maui well, hitting a nice counter-note to the courageous, venturous Moana to make the flawless pairing.

ALAN TUDYK, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ lucky charm (“Zootopia”, “Wreck-It Ralph”, “Big Hero 6”), is behind the voice of HEIHEI, a dumb rooster who accidently stows away on Moana’s canoe. There was that adorable video of Moana playing in the water as a toddler, but that’s when she was a toddler.

Disney’s latest animated adventure is set in the South Pacific and follows a young girl, Moana, and the demigod Maui as they set off on an epic quest across the ocean in search of a fabled island. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.

Moana is aided by Maui, a demi-god and shapeshifter voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. As she sails across the ocean with Maui and her pig Pua, battling impossible odds and monsters, she discovers herself and in the process helps Maui too.

Moana is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the famous duo that also directed Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
