Kate and William are trying to give their children an idyllic country upbringing and are making 10-bedroom Anmer Hall on the Norfolk Sandringham Estate their main home rather than their London residence Kensington Palace.

The intimate photos taken by the Duke and Duchess are released to great fanfare as the public enjoy the personal touches that doting mother Kate Middleton adds to the photographs.

Charlotte is wearing a cute pink woollen cardigan over a floral dress with white ruffle collar, teamed with pink tights over her scrumptiously chubby legs.

Princess Charlotte’s photos have since received many praises from royal watchers from all over the world.

Princess Charlotte can be seen smiling, laughing, and sitting up on her own.

In the second image the princess is shown looking past the camera as if something has caught her attention behind the Duchess.

Kensington Palace said on Twitter that the photographs were taken by the duchess in the family’s home of Amner Hall in Norfolk in early November. The pictures showed a resemblance between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s two children.

Another fan wrote, “That’s sweet of them to share photos even though they don’t have to”.

While opinion is clearly divided on just who Charlotte takes after the most, one thing just about everyone seems to agree on is that she looks very much like her equally adorable big brother George.

Charlotte was born on May 2, like her brother at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. Gavin, fourth time victor of the “British Press Photographer of the Year”, said the pictures are technically “not very good” and are just “typical of a mother’s photos of her kids”.
