The Big 12 announced the media’s pre-season All Big 12 selections today.
A unanimous All-Big 12 First-Team selection in 2014, Striker posted a team-high 17.0 tackles for loss and 9.0 sacks to go along with 68 tackles, five pass breakups and two fumble recoveries a year ago.
The Cowboys ride the bounce from late last season into a strong 2015 campaign, and Mason Rudolph continues his development into one of the nation’s elite quarterbacks. A native of Rockdale, Texas, Clark has started all 38 games of his Red Raider career, mainly at left tackle.
Exclusive live coverage from the event will also be available on the Big 12’s social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram (@Big12Conference) with #Big12FB serving as the official hashtag of the event. The Jayhawks will be playing their first season under new coach David Beaty. His six interceptions ranked second in the Big 12 and 13th nationally. Symmank, a native of McKinney, Texas, concluded the 2014 season with 54 punts for 2,303 yards (42.6 average), 24 fair catches, 17 punts inside the 20-yard line, eight punts of 50-yards or more and five touchbacks without a blocked punt.
