Selection dilemmas for England vs Slovakia in Euro 2016
The Dragons had the lead at half-time after Gareth Bale beat Joe Hart with a 35-yard free-kick shortly before the break, but everything changed in the second stanza.

That is exactly what England boss Roy Hodgson did in the crunch Euro 2016 encounter with Wales, throwing Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge into the fray with devastating impact.
Reports suggest that Vardy and Daniel Sturridge, who came on to score a stoppage-time victor against Wales, could come into England’s starting XI, with Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane felt to be at risk.
“I said before the game we respect Wales as a nation and as a football team”. I thought we might do that if we produced a similar sort of performance and dominate possession and control the game but the Welsh restricted the number of clear cut goal chances with the amount of bodies they got behind the ball in the final third.
Sturridge played in a cross that fell to Jamie Vardy for the equaliser shortly after the restart, and he was consistently England’s most risky player in the attacking third.
Injured for much of Liverpool’s season and reduced to a watching brief as England’s Group B opener against Russian Federation finished 1-1, the 26-year-old was thrown on for the second half against Wales along with Jamie Vardy.
Wayne Rooney is certain England have a strong enough squad to compete with anyone at Euro 2016, following the thrilling 2-1 comeback win over Wales on Thursday.
But the former Cardiff and Celtic man insists he will be in the mix for the crucial final Group B meeting with Russian Federation in Toulouse on Monday.
Anything less than an English win would see Wales finish bottom of the group.
Williams’ centre-back partner James Chester has been one of Wales’ stand-out players of the tournament so far.
“Watching France play Albania last night, I think it was a similar situation when Pogba and Griezmann came on the field. Nothing changes. There are a lot of positives we can take and maybe the thing we can improve on is keeping the ball a bit better”, Ledley was quoted as saying by British media.
But qualification for the last 16 remains in Wales’s hands ahead of their last Group B outing against the Russians in Toulouse. “But you can’t tell me that my players deserved that”, he said.

“It is tough for everybody obviously but we have another game on Monday and it is a quick turnaround so we won’t get down about it”.
