Sen. Cruz brings campaign tour through Tennessee, Arkansas
“I wanted a candidate that I believed prayed to God and believed in the constitution”.

Campbell says he’s also in Cruz’s corner.
Allen notes that Cruz’s more moderate tone with respect to marriage equality at the fundraiser can be made to fit what he’s said on the campaign trail, but it takes some work. “What Senator Cruz said before NY donors doesn’t comport what he told Iowa conservatives or the National Organization for Marriage”. Ted Cruz, their favorite son, is tied or slightly ahead of the Democratic front-runners in nationwide polls. It ain’t very secret -I know Colbert may not have a ton of viewers- but saying it on national TV, is not a great plan for keeping something secret. After listening to it and reading it I stand by those comments.
“If I am elected president, we will utterly destroy ISIS”. I think they’ve gone to a Trump rally out of curiosity.
Okay fine, knock yourselves out.
Cruz got big cheers when differing himself from other candidates.
“I’m here to tell you that help is on the way”, Cruz told the crowd.
“I’m a big supporter”, said some unidentified attendee on the secret recording.
“I’m seeing and hearing everywhere that Ted Cruz is our man. People may not be 100 percent sure they’re going to vote for him, but they’re 100 percent sure they agree with him”, said Aaron Snodderly, a former chair of the Tennessee Young Republicans. He asked if, given how many big problems the U.S.is now facing, how big a priority fighting gay marriage will be.
Cruz is on a whirlwind tour of states holding primaries on Super Tuesday.
Now, I personally believe in traditional marriage between one man and one woman, but if you want to change the marriage laws, the way to do it constitutionally is convince your fellow citizens, go to your state legislature, and change it. Being a constitutionalist is integral to my approach to every other issue. “So that I’m very devoted to”.
The online publication tried to fan the flames of controversy by claiming that following this summer’s Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, Cruz said the gay marriage issue would be “front and center” in his 2016 campaign.
Ted Cruz’s top priority has always been advancing his own career, so it isn’t much of a surprise that the positions that he is selling Iowa, New Hampshire, and SC aren’t the same as what he is telling people behind closed doors. “And that cuts across the whole spectrum – whether it’s defending [the] First Amendment, defending religious liberty”.

He also said he thought “the 10th Amendment of the Constitution cuts across a whole lot of issues and can bring people together”.
