Sen. Graham drops out of Republican race for presidential nomination
Haley is now enjoying an 81 percent approval rating among South Carolina Republicans, according to a Winthrop University poll earlier this month. This has been a problem solver’s campaign.

In New Hampshire, which holds the first-in-the-nation primary on February 9, Bush picked up the support of Pam Patenaude, a former Graham delegate in the state.
Upon news Caitlyn Jenner had come out as transgender and a member of the Republican Party, Graham said she’s welcome in the GOP and to vote for him if her priority is national security. “I got into this race to put forward a plan to win a war we can not afford to lose”. I believe that had he won the nomination, there would have been a lot of “Graham Democrats” – something we haven’t had since Reagan.
“Today most of my fellow candidates have come to recognize this is what’s needed to secure our homeland”, Graham said in the video. ‘At that time no one stepped forward to join me.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was one of the first to wish Graham well.
He started his campaign with a festive rally in his hometown and often regaled voters with stories of growing up above a pool hall and helping to raise his sister.
Many Republicans are anxious because the people who would made a good difference for them are falling to the wayside for people like Donald Trump. “He changed the course of the presidential debate by his strong position on national defense … and the real threat of ISIS and the need to have American troops involved”. As USA Today notes, Arizona Sen. John McCain, collected in his two White House bids. And the No. 1 guy is high energy and insane as hell.
“I’m going to suspend my campaign”. It was a lesson he attributed to his upbringing in the bar that his parents owned and to the political friendship between Republican President Ronald Reagan and Democratic Speaker Tip O’Neill.
Graham is the fourth Republican candidate to quit the Republican presidential race following former Texas Governor Rick Perry, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.
It would be easy to say that because of Graham’s profile it was the wrong year for him to run.
During an interview on CNN, Graham reminded Trump that American troops are serving overseas under hard circumstances.

Graham’s interventionist foreign policy has been at the forefront of his candidacy and he has helped shape the conversation on the campaign trail, particularly about national security. “Especially New Hampshire. They like to make their own judgment of the candidate”.
