Senate President may receive ministerial list tomorrow
Buhari had promised to transmit the list of ministerial nominees to the Senate on or before September 30 for proper screening by the upper legislative arm in the country.

President Buhari earlier assured of his determination to release the ministerial list before the end of September.
The Nigerian Senate would after six weeks of recess, resume sitting on Tuesday, September 29, as they will be expecting communication from President Buhari on ministerial nominees.
Checks by our correspondent yesterday, however, revealed that the list of the ministers was yet to be received by the office of the Senate President as at 6.00pm.
The President’s Media Adviser, Femi Adesina said, “When we have meetings such as the UN General Assembly, there are also sideline meetings”.
Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party swiftly countered the claim by the opposition, attributing the delay by the president largely on the transfer of power from one party to another.
He had at different times said he was in search of Nigerians with integrity to be part of his team that would reposition the country.
“This has resulted in the government conveying dictatorial inclinations as amply exhibited in its adamant stance in running a government without the statutory component of an executive cabinet, even when the negative consequences of this unusual totalitarian approach are taking a serious toll on the polity”.
A top Presidency source told reporters at the side line of the United Nations, in New York that President Muhammadu Buhari handed the list over to Enang, on Monday where he is attending the General Assembly, for onward transmission to the National Assembly. “We once again reiterate our allegiance to the Nigerian people”.

The two key individuals are presently attending the United Nations meeting with Mr. President. “If not for possible insensitivity to the plight of those affected by insurgency, what other reason has this government for its absence from such a crucial meeting aimed to find ways of bringing relief to its displaced citizens?”
