Dallas got a second-period goal from Patrick Sharp that ended Anderson’s scoreless streak at 147:04, as well as two from Jamie Benn and one from Tyler Seguin in the third period.

Pageau scored twice and provided an assist, while Stone netted once and set up two others for the second-placed team in the Atlantic Division.

Captain Ryan Getzlaf tied a franchise record with five assists for the Ducks, who haven’t lost a regular-season game to Calgary at Honda Center since January 19, 2004. Anton Khudobin was yanked for the Ducks after allowing two goals on five shots in the first 10 minutes of their contest against the Calgary Flames. Mark Stone had a goal and two assists, and Bobby Ryan and Milan Michalek also had goals. 7, Dallas, Ja.Benn 15 (Jo.Benn), 6:07 (sh). He has six goals this season.

Michael Frolik scored two goals and Sam Bennett had a goal and an assist for the Flames. Dallas, Niemi 8-4-0 (16-11), Lehtonen (12:33 second, 3-2), Niemi 8-4-0 (1:05 third). He passed to Michalek in the center of the left circle, and Michalek sent a wrist shot past Niemi into the upper right corner. Anderson, who had two consecutive shutouts heading into the game, was last scored on in a 4-3 overtime loss against Detroit on November 16. Sharp’s wrist shot from the right circle beat Anderson far post. The first shot Lehtonen faced was Hoffman’s goal from the top of the left circle on the power play. That goal signaled what originally appeared to be the end of Niemi’s night as Kari Lehtonen replaced him in net.

The Senators had rolled out to a 5-1 lead when Pageau struck early in the third period. Was that because Jason Demers missed the game after suffering a lower body injury Saturday against Buffalo?
