Senior GOP Officials Exploring Options if Trump Drops Out
In an interview, she cited Trump’s record in real estate and Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of State as helping her decide to back the Republican nominee over the first woman to capture a major party’s nomination for the White House. The campaign has stated “it raised $80 million in July, has $74 million cash on hand”, according to reports by Reuters. Obama said that even if he had lost his White House races in 2008 and 2012, he would not have doubted his Republican rivals’ ability to lead the country.

“Trump’s take from women is in line with what we have seen” in past elections, said Shelia Krumholz, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks political money. “She’s a very deceitful person, she lies, she cheats, no I don’t think that’s too far at all”, he said.
The message belied the chaos that has erupted in the Republican Party after the NY real estate magnate engaged for days in a public dispute with the parents of the Muslim US soldier who died in Iraq.
The officials, including one with direct knowledge of Priebus’ thinking, were granted anonymity to discuss internal strategy after one of the most tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidential campaign. John McCain of Arizona in their re-election bids.
“I was going to vote for Trump, still might”, said Luanne Miller, an Army vet, there with a friend.
More any other major figure in the Republican establishment, Priebus worked to bring Trump into the party’s fold despite the NY businessman’s status as an outsider.
She continued to say that “Trump’s reckless and uninformed positions on critical issues – from immigration to our economy to foreign policy – have made it abundantly clear that he lacks both the policy depth and sound judgment required as President”.
The French leader was referring to a feud between Trump and the Muslim parents of a slain United States soldier, which has shaken the presidential campaign just three months before the November vote. I like a lot of what he said, he’s shaken the party up, but he owes Mr. Khan an apology.
Several media outlets reported on Wednesday that the campaign is in disarray and that Trump had rejected advice from his staff to drop the battle with the Khans.
Two unidentified sources, who are close to the campaign, want Trump to apologize to Khizr Khan, the Muslim dad of a US soldier who died in Iraq in 2004, whom Trump has battled in the press for several days.
“I want to be an active part of making sure people’s voices are heard”.
Thirty-three percent of voters – 35% of Trump supporters and 31% of Clinton supporters – described themselves as “pretty outspoken” about their support. Even Trump’s longtime ally, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, said it was inappropriate to criticize the Khan family. But Trump dove in, questioning why Ghazala Khan did not speak, implying her religion prevented her from doing so, and saying he was “viciously attacked” by Khizr Khan.
Pierson’s attack on Obama was extremely curious, as he wasn’t even a senator at the time and Clinton was serving as a junior senator herself representing the state of NY.
The Washington Post asked Trump Tuesday about his thoughts on Ryan, and Trump had a few choice words for the ranking Republican. “Hillary is 10 times worse than Donald Trump”, he said.

Khan said that he was “not surprised” by Trump’s negative reaction to his speech, in which he criticized Trump for calling to ban Muslim immigrants, questioned whether he had ever read the U.S. Constitution, and said, “You have sacrificed nothing and no one”.
