Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in theaters on November 18th, 2016. As it stands, the film will be about Newt Scamander, who is played by Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

Of Rowling’s ever-expanding “Wizarding World”, which includes the hit play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Warner Bros. said, “There is much more on the horizon”. It is trying something new for the series, something risky, something that should speak in a very real way to both old and young readers – and that’s a great thing for the final book in a fantasy series’.
Warner Bros.is betting on the power of J.K. Rowling. There isn’t any exact release date on the third movie, but it should be out in November 2020.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child has become the fastest-selling book in the United Kingdom this decade, selling more than 680,000 copies in its first three days. During the San Diego Comic-Con, he said: “There is a mention of some characters that we know and love from previous movies, but we only talk about them fleetingly”.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a script, not a novel.
