Having won the title in the previous two years she played Wimbledon in 2015 and 2016, Williams, who missed last year’s tournament due to her pregnancy, has extended her winning streak at the All England Club to 19 matches. The camera caught Drake in what appeared to be wildly different moods as the match progressed – from mad, happy, concerned and even pensive.

The 36-year-old faces Italian world number 52 Camila Giorgi on Tuesday for a place in the semi-finals.

The 2017 French Open champion lost her first two service games and was down 5-2 in the opening set before rallying to force a tiebreaker against her Belarussian opponent. “But I feel like I’m back”.

“It was a very tough match but I was just trying to enjoy it”.

In his press conference after his fourth-round win over Stefanos Tsitsipas, he was asked about it and admitted he didn’t know anything about Trump’s visit. She said simply: “I don’t follow tennis, women’s tennis, and I don’t follow tennis”.

“I don’t care who I am playing against”.

She is first on Centre Court against Daria Kasatkina for her quarter-final clash this afternoon.

“You’re only as good as your last win”.

The professional tennis player is competing in the quarter finals of the competition, with Drizzy Drake cheering her on in the stands.

Goerges came back in her match, too, defeating Kiki Bertens 3-6 7-5 6-1 in her first grand slam quarterfinal at about the same time Williams’ match ended.

Williams is looking for her eighth Wimbledon title and has established herself as the big favorite once again, with the top-10 seeds all eliminated. “. I would try to go around her more, rather than through her”.

Jelena Ostapenko blasted her way into her first Wimbledon semi-final with a display of power hitting against Dominika Cibulkova.

Three years younger, three inches shorter and far less powerful, Marion Bartoli knew she had to do something extraordinary to have a chance against Serena Williams in their fourth-round meeting at Wimbledon in 2011.
