Williams told New York Magazine’s Kerry Howley that her design aspirations have always centered on making wedding dresses. “I want to defend my title, ‘” the top-ranked female tennis player – already victorious at the French and Australian opens and Wimbledon – said last month.
And, as for winning the Grand Slam?
She went on: ‘I have some in my house here, some in my house there, some I don’t know what happened to ’em. “Not just in tennis but in everything I do”.
It honestly amazes me when I hear people try to say that Serena Williams is shaped like a man. Bish where?
She tweeted: “I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!”
Serena Williams shows off her moves off the court. Doubles-sideline-to-doubles-sideline-in-three-strides is an act of avian grace, and yet Serena is perpetually “crushing” and “slamming” and “rolling over”, as if the entire sports commentariat picked up English at a construction site.
But seeing how the world number 1 and her boyfriend slash coach have created this special partnership, it looks like Serena Williams won’t have to fumble through Wimbledon 2015!
