Serge Ibaka jokingly asks if UFC would be interested in promoting fight
Forwards Matt Barnes of the Memphis Grizzlies and Serge Ibaka of the Oklahoma City Thunder have reputations as a couple of the more rugged enforcers in the National Basketball Association today.

“Me and Serge could fight right now if he was here”, the UCLA product asserted.
Back in the 2013-14 season, Ibaka and Barnes got into it and it looked like Ibaka was going to throw a punch before restraining himself. “But if I do get in one, they just have to swing first, because the NBA’s going to try to bury me if I swing first”. Barnes went on to say that it is Ibaka’s aura of being the toughest guy int he room that rubs him the wrong way. Ibaka got tangled with Clippers star Blake Griffin after a blocked shot and Barnes, then with the Clippers, stepped in to shove Ibaka.
Now that’s how you handle a guy like Barnes, who always seems involved in one fight or another throughout the course of his career. Because we might just keep fighting.”Serge Ibaka is not on that list”. When I put him in his place, not only fans but guys on other teams were happy.

But you can bet each player will have the Thunder vs Grizzlies matchup circled in nice blood-red ink on their respective calendars.
