Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been charged by the English Football Association with violent conduct for elbowing an opponent during a Premier League game against West Ham.
Sterling registered assists in the victories over Sunderland and Stoke City, and then scored a brace in the 3-1 victory over West Ham on Sunday.
Further the league loses more, as does the derby, by Manchester City not having Aguero at their disposal.
The victory took City to nine points alongside rivals Manchester United, whom they will face in an eagerly-anticipated derby at Old Trafford after the upcoming global break.
West Ham’s first meaningful sight of goal, after half an hour, found Gokhan Tore picking out young forward Ashley Fletcher, whose header flew harmlessly wide.
But television replays appeared to show referee Andre Marriner was looking at the incident.
Football must have seemed easy for Raheem Sterling, from when he was a kid right up until last season after completing his controversial £49 million transfer from Liverpool to Manchester City.
“The first half he scored but he didn’t win as many balls as he has in previous games”.
“It is good to have a manager who not only talks to me but makes the whole squad feel welcome, who makes everyone feel they are all one, whether they are starting or not. So I am happy to play there”. West Ham boss Slaven Bilic immediately removed Reid after the clash but later explained that it was a tactical decision as the centre-back had to make way for Jonathan Calleri.
Bilic said: “I didn’t see it at all”.
“I always respect the style of play every manager has”. “The manager’s been in the game a long time, won stuff, worked with young players, worked with great players, and he knows how to get the best out of his players and he’s been a massive help”.
“We have good players who like to have the ball, and we also have fast players so we can play on the counter”. We wanted to change the shape.

“We created many chances so we deserved to win clearly with more goals”.
