Before heading out to Europe, signing with Atletico de Madrid in 2006, Sergio “Kun” Aguero had 56 apperances and scored 23 goals with the Argentine soccer club.

Toure hasn’t been as great an influence on goal as we’ve seen in previous seasons, netting just three times in 20 appearances across all competitions this term.

Aguero wasn’t involved in City’s Capital One Cup victory over Hull after limping out of the weekend win over Southampton.

Manchester City keeper Joe Hart could make his return from injury against Stoke City, but manager Manuel Pellegrini will still be without seven players when the Premier League leaders visit the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

A player of Aguero’s status and skill could also be a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been heavily aligned with a move away from Madrid in recent months.

“I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old”. He specifically stated that he will go back to the club that started his career at 15 years of age once his contract with Man City expires.
