Sergio Ramos signs new deal with Real Madrid

SERGIO RAMOS HAS ended speculation over his future by agreeing a new five-year contract with Real Madrid. “We go for the best players and it has to be possible”. He had those couple of dodgy seasons at the start when he was a young, inexperienced goalkeeper adapting to a new country, but under David Moyes he showed real promise. “Hopefully next time we get the full package”.

Reports in Italy had claimed that the Old Trafford club are in the mix for Argentina global Biglia, but MirrorFootball has been informed that there is no bid for the playmaker. Perhaps this wonderfully Machiavellian move by Madrid could finally force United’s hand.

It is also understood that he is unhappy at suggestions he did not want to play for United during the transfer saga and insists he was ready to play.
