‘Serial Killer’ Behind Shootings in Phoenix
A 16-year-old man and a 21-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries in shootings March 17 and 18, and an empty vehicle was shot up June 12 in the other newly linked incidents.

Local authorities announced this week that they believe that seven recent killings in the city are all connected-the work of a man who many are calling “the serial street shooter”. No known incidents have taken place since then, police said. “We need our community to help us solve these cases”.
The first attacks were reported in March when two men were shot while walking outside; both survived.
Dossie Ellis Sr.’ daughter, Stefanie, and 12-year-old granddaughter, Maleah, were shot and killed right on his driveway in June.
Phoenix police say Manuel “Manny” Castro Garcia’s slaying was one of seven committed by a serial killer.
A police sketch showed a male with dark hair, and Howard said witnesses reported seeing a auto leaving shooting scenes, possibly with more than one person inside.
A $30,000 reward is being offered to any possible Silent Witness.
April 19: A 55-year-old woman named Krystal Annette White was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound at 500 N. 32nd St. around 4:30 a.m.
According to ABC, police have not said if the victims were selected at random or if they were targeted.
June 12: An unoccupied auto was shot at 62000 W. Mariposa Drive around 2:35 a.m.
There has not been a shooting since June 12, and the gap has led Phoenix PD to urge citizens to come forward and tell what they know.
Police have released a composite sketch of a suspected shooter linked to a series of homicides and violent crimes in west Phoenix.
“Please remember though, that the suspect vehicle description has varied from a light-colored sedan to a dark-colored sedan, so additional descriptors may not help someone identify suspicious activity”, Howard said in a statement.
Resident of the Maryvale neighborhood in western Phoenix discussed the murders with police investigators at a community meeting last week.
Police also say three other non-fatal shootings are now believed to be linked. He said these incidents were already under investigation.

But they won’t be happy until a killer is off the streets.
