Serial shooter or shooters may be responsible for 7 murders in Phoenix

All shootings happened in home areas and at night.

June 12, 2016: At approximately 3:00 a.m., Angela Linner, Maleah Ellis, and Stefanie Ellis were shot and killed in front of a home in the area of 6300 W. Berkeley Rd.

The victims’ ages range from 12 to 32, including two women and a 12-year-old girl. She died of her injuries July 7.

The body of Krystal Annette White, 55, was found at her home address around 4:30 a.m. on April 19.

The shootings have taken place in the Maryvale area of Phoenix, known for being a low-income neighborhood.

Police initially linked four shootings to the same culprit, but confirmed this week that four other incidents showed the same pattern. “All of these incidents were already under investigation but have now been included in the series of violent crimes previously linked and reported”, police said.

The shootings began March 17, when a 16-year-old boy was shot and wounded while walking on the street at 11:30 p.m., police said.

The following night, a 21-year-old man was also shot and injured. Later, on June 12, around 2:30 a.m., an unoccupied auto was shot in 6200 West Mariposa Drive.
