Setback: Browns’ oft-suspended Gordon has quadriceps injury
Though the reinstated receiver is eligible to participate in Training Camp, Gordon reported to the Browns today and took a physical, revealing that he has a quad injury that will require a few weeks of recovery.

The NFL said in a press release on Tuesday that Commissioner Roger Goodell had notified Gordon that he has been reinstated to the NFL on a conditional basis.
– Josh Gordon’s return to football has been sidetracked again.
Gordon’s last game with the Browns was December 21, 2014.
Following the news, Gordon took to Twitter to express his gratitude.
Per multiple reports, Gordon met with new Browns coach Hue Jackson, executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown and other key Browns personnel Tuesday.
Jackson, who attended Tuesday night’s game between the Indians and Washington Nationals, declined to comment on Gordon’s situation. He last played a game in December 2014.
The injury won’t help Gordon’s standing with the Browns or their fans, many of whom are wondering why the team doesn’t move on from a player who has been little more than a distraction for several years. He’s missed 27 of the team’s last 32 games. Suspensions have limited Gordon to just five games since the beginning of the 2014 season, but he’s still just 25 years old and full of talent, evidenced by his breakout 2013 campaign in which he caught 87 passes for an NFL-best 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns.

Additionally, DB Joe Haden (ankle) and rookie TE Seth DeValve (hamstring) were placed on the active/physically unable to perform list.
