Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens set for WWE Clash of Champions 2016

After the Owens-Rollins bout was announced on Monday’s RAW, later in the show it was revealed that on next week’s RAW, Reigns and Owens will go one-on-one in a match with a special stipulation. Rollins angrily laid into Owens, McMahon, and Foley, and while McMahon tried to suspend Rollins for his disrespectful outburst, Foley proved to be the cooler head, booking Owens vs. Rollins for the Universal Championship at the RAW-exclusive Clash of Champions pay-per-view.

While last week’s #Monday Night Raw gave us what could be the weekly show’s most thrilling moment of the year, this week’s RAW was the most underwhelming since July’s brand split. That suspension didn’t last very long as Foley immediately reinstated him and put him in the main event of Clash of Champions against Owens for the title.

While Rollins will undoubtedly want another shot at the Universal Championship, what direction will Roman Reigns turn at this point? He said that Reigns would face Owens in a match next week and if he won, he would enter the match at Clash of Champions, making it a triple threat for the Universal Championship. Here some of the rumored matches that may take place in the event. There were several reports last month that the WWE will be pushing Cesaro.

As the WWE continues to look for a good fit for Roman Reigns since returning from his 30-day suspension for violating the WWE’s Wellness Policy, there are several directions he could go after last week’s insane Raw. Will the Swiss Superman avoid getting in an early and seemingly impossible to overcome 3-0 hole?

On the other hand, Bayley got a win over the champ and she should receive a title shot.

WWE Clash of Champions 2016 will be on September 25, 2016 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Will the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who made his first appearance in WWE since losing the title at WrestleMania 32, speak out about his actions? However, a 90-minute version of Monday Night Raw is available to stream on-demand the following day with a Hulu Plus subscription.
