Severe storms possible in Missouri tonight and Wednesday, flooding after Christmas

Temperature could rise into the 70s on Wednesday and there is a high near 60 with a 30 percent chance of showers on Christmas Day, according to the National Weather Service.

WHAT WE’RE TRACKINGMild temperatures expected Wednesdsay morning with record high temperatures through the afternoon.
The record highs for December 24 are 57 degrees in Concord and 51 degrees in Portsmouth. “We’re going to get an inch, maybe two, out of this first batch this morning into the early afternoon”. A chance of showers is predicted throughout the day, with a high temperature near 52 degrees. Look for highs closer to 60 Wednesday with lows near 40.
